Unit industries produces slip rings,
switches, brushes, contact relays and transformer bases for commercial
and military applications. A highly trained staff and state
of the art facility allow us to perform spot welding by electrical
discharge in conjunction with thin soldering. This allows us to achieve
strong welding which is corrosion and lead free.

Well known for its expertise in tight
tolerance manufacturing, Unit offers tolerances up to 0.0003 of an inch.
We currently manufacture parts weighing 0.1 grams with 4 holes measuring
0.012", in a 8 cavity mold. For the last 5 years we have focused
exclusively on micro molding. Our wide range of medical offering in thermoset
arena includes Silicones LIM molding. Currently, we manufacture parts
ranging from 0.1 gm to 85 gms (3 ounces). We are also one of the select
few manufacturers of highly specialized components such as transformer
bases used in defibrillators.

Our switches find extensive usage in high frequency and high temperature
environment, primarily in
military and commercial applications. Our terminal boards and
transformer bases are used extensively as surface mounted components
(SMC) due to their tight coplanetary tolerances. Our larger transformer
bases are used in magnetic arena as well as in pick up point sensors.
Unit is undergoing expansion. A 6,000 sq. ft.
class 100,000 clean room facility is under construction for Silicone LIM
molding to meet growing requirements of our customers.
Unit
is a completely vertically integrated company. We specialize in high precision
switches, slip rings, precious metal connectors, and
rotational contacts,
using precious metals such as Gold,
Platinum,
Palladium and
Neyoro G.
A
complete turnkey company, Unit, has in house engineering, mold making and
assembly
facilities. Over 30 years of extensive experience with high engineering grade
materials such as PEEK, VECTRA, ULTEM, TPX, FORTRON, EPIALL and
Diallyl
Phthalate (DAP) allows us to meet and exceed some of the most demanding standards in
the manufacturing industry.
